Hi there! I’m Chris, a Fort Collins local with a desire to tell stories that matter most to our community. You might say that news writing is in my DNA—back in high school, I was the editor of the newspaper and yearbook. Those days of intensive design sessions, perfecting headlines, and competing in newswriting competitions sparked my love for journalism, a love that has only grown since then.
After earning my MBA and working in various roles, I found myself back where my heart belongs: community journalism. I’m excited to bring that passion to a new stage by launching a local nonprofit news organization dedicated to Fort Collins. My goal? To create a space where the voices, issues, and triumphs of our city are spotlighted, with reporting that is as transparent as it is trustworthy.
When I’m not chasing stories or brainstorming ways to support local journalism, I’m probably out exploring Fort Collins with my camera, documenting the beautiful everyday moments that define our town. From city hall meetings to local art shows, I believe there’s always a story worth telling—and I’m here to make sure it’s told right. Thanks for being part of this journey with me!
