Hello, I’m Chris, a Fort Collins resident with a deep commitment to telling the stories that shape our community. My roots in journalism run deep; as a high school student, I served as editor of both the newspaper and yearbook, where I developed a lasting appreciation for the power of well-crafted storytelling. Those late nights refining layouts, writing headlines, and participating in newswriting competitions ignited a passion that has only grown stronger over time.
After earning my MBA and working in various academic roles, I found myself back where my heart belongs: community journalism. I’m excited to bring that passion to a new stage by launching a local nonprofit news organization dedicated to Fort Collins. My goal? To create a space where the voices, issues, and triumphs of our city are spotlighted, with reporting that is as transparent as it is trustworthy.
When I’m not chasing stories or brainstorming ways to support local journalism, I’m probably out exploring Fort Collins with my camera, documenting the beautiful everyday moments that define our town. From city hall meetings to local art shows, I believe there’s always a story worth telling and I’m here to make sure it’s told right. Thanks for being part of this journey with me!
