The Fort Collins Report is launching a new community survey to learn what residents want most from local journalism.

As a local, independent newsroom, our mission is to deliver fact-based, community-driven reporting that reflects the real priorities of Fort Collins. This survey is a key part of that effort to understand what issues matter most, how people get their news, and what gaps exist in local coverage.

Your feedback will directly shape our reporting.
We want to know:

  • What stories do you wish were covered more deeply?
  • Which local issues need more accountability and context?
  • How can local news better reflect your community and daily life?

Whether you follow city government closely, care about housing and growth, or simply want to see more stories about the people who make Fort Collins unique, your input matters.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential. Results will guide upcoming reporting priorities and community engagement projects.
