The Surveillance Map is available now here. Community members are encouraged to explore the map and submit tips or corrections. The map will be updated with new locations throughout the year.
The map highlights locations of city-operated systems including traffic cameras, police surveillance tools, and municipal building monitors alongside private security cameras that are visible from public spaces. Users can explore each marked location to view available details about camera ownership, purpose (such as traffic enforcement or general surveillance), and estimated field of view.
The map reveals patterns of surveillance coverage across neighborhoods, schools, commercial areas, and civic spaces. It offers an accessible starting point for anyone interested in privacy rights, urban planning, or law enforcement practices.
